If you’re looking for an engagement photo location in Miami that doesn’t feel like the typical South Florida backdrop, the Prado Entrance in Coral Gables is kind of a hidden gem.

For this engagement session, we wanted something that felt romantic and a little nostalgic without turning the whole thing into an overly styled photoshoot. The historic architecture, weathered columns, greenery, and pops of bougainvillea at the Prado Entrance gave us exactly that. Add in a vintage blue bike and some ridiculously good evening light, and the whole session started to feel like a scene pulled out of another decade.

But the best part wasn’t the location or even the bike. It was letting these two actually be themselves.

Instead of working through a checklist of engagement poses, we gave them room to interact, move around, get close, laugh, and have fun with it. Some moments were romantic, some were playful, and some happened simply because we weren’t trying too hard to manufacture them. That balance is what makes engagement photos feel like you instead of two people performing for a camera.
