We tell all of our couples that what they should expect from us is a very "DOCUMENTARY" style of shooting. We want that shot of the bride having fun with her girls during getting ready, OR the groomsmen looking up "HOW TO TIE A BOWTIE" videos on their phone. In other words, though we will guide you during your post-ceremony portraits, We photograph YOUR DAY AS IT HAPPENS, Rather than trying to stage every moment for the camera. After all, IT'S A WEDDING, NOT A HOLLYWOOD PRODUCTION!

As we mentioned in the above section, we shoot in a documentary style meaning we capture the day as it happens and, other than the portraits we take of you after your ceremony, will not be manufacturing artificial moments for the sake of taking a picture if that makes sense. As for the style of the photos themselves, we like our photos to capture emotions, motion, and moments as if taken by someone in the crowd you didn't even know was there at all. Like a fly on the wall that happens to be a member of the paparazzi! LOL
I do all of our photo editing in house and aim for all of our photos to have a color/tone that is as "true to life" as possible while putting my personal touch on the edits to add in depth and dimension where I feel it belongs. I WILL ALWAYS be the photographer at your wedding, and if your package includes 2 photographers, a second photographer will also be at your wedding (99.9% of the time it'll be my awesome husband Alex unless there is some unavoidable emergency).
If you have a blemish or scar that you would prefer we remove, we will gladly do that. However, we are strongly against, and refuse to offer editing photos in an attempt to, for example, make your arms thinner, shrink your waist, remove a "double chin", etc. It is important that you love yourself and your body going into this process so that you can love your photos for what they are; a snapshot of yourself and your love at this particular moment in time. ♥
We do not provide raw images, you will receive your photos in high-resolution JPEG format in an online password-protected gallery that allows you to view, download and share photos as well as order prints, enlargements, and other physical goodies you can plaster your new awesome pics all over!
Yup!!! But between you and I, it'll probably be closer to 1-2 weeks! It's a side effect of loving what I do which allows me to sit at my computer for days on end until they're all done! haha
